Meetings are held at the field on the second Saturday of each month at 10:00 AM with no meetings in June, July, or August. Members will be notified by email of any changes to this schedule.
Please join us monthly for exceedingly popular monthly workshop.
The workshop is an informal gathering where pilots share information, tips, tricks, and what they’ve learned along the way. Show off your newly built plane, ask questions and much more.
Examples could be:
· Have a question on how to set up dual rates or exponential
· How to convert a nitro build into electric and what size motor/batteries to use
· How to set up a gyro to your Transmitter with a 3-position switch
· The sky’s the limit
This is an opportunity to get to know fellow club members and people interested in the hobby. This forum is open to members and guests. Invite your neighbor who showed some interest in your hobby.
We will have an r/c flight simulator available if you want to get some “stick time.” Come with insights to share, questions you have, and safety information. This workshop is about teaching/learning, relationship building and fun. It’s not something you’ll want to miss. Coffee and doughnuts will be available.
Location: EAA Hangar at the Brooksville airport - 2475 Broad Street, going southbound on 41, road is right after Main Entrance to Airport, there is a Blue EAA Sign at the Road. (there will be a card hanging on the card reader as you approach the gate) Insert the card and the gate will open. Travel straight back to the EAA hanger. Can’t miss it. It has large EAA letters on the hangar.
Park your vehicle on either side of the hangar.
See you there!
