Our Culture of Safety First - A work in progress

At HCRCC we have established a strong culture of safety. Safety is a deep seeded value. While we established a position in the club dedicated to safety, we believe every member is accountable for their personal safety and the safety of others. No flight operation is so important and urgent that it cannot be performed safely.

Our members use "call outs" on the field to help remind each other during flying as well as a focused "Safety Minute" example during each Club Meeting. We all make mistakes, we all forget, our culture is to help each other and PREVENT the incident.
